Summer Conservation Volunteer Shift
August 14
9:00 am - 11:00 am
Thank you for joining Lookout Mountain Conservancy as a Summer Volunteer! We are grateful for your service as our mission to increase accessibility to the outdoors cannot be realized without your support. Together we'll get to work on removing invasives, managing our garden, prepping for our Shrimp Boil fundraiser, and much more!
For our summer months, we will have community volunteer shifts on Wednesdays from 9 AM - 11 AM, with a 10-person maximum per shift.
Tools and gloves will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own gloves if preferred. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants and don't forget your water bottle! We will also provide water refills, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Accessibility: The majority of our work requires moderate to high activity and mobility. We are always seeking support with our intern program, cleaning, cooking, and preparing for events. We are happy to speak further with you about any concerns or accommodations needed for your shift.
All ages are welcome! Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at 1835 Old Wauhatchie Pike before your shift - parking is available for free during your service. Feel free to reach out with any questions. We are excited to work with you!
