Volunteer Day – Weed Wrangle 2019

Volunteer Day – Weed Wrangle 2019

  • April 6, 2019
    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a day on the Mountain to work in the pollinator garden.

Come out for our annual Weed Wrangle workday. Bring your family and friends, and work side-by-side with The Howard School Leadership Interns, restoring trails and weed wrangling on the Mountain. After our work, we will celebrate our collective accomplishments with a cookout

Who: You, your family and friends. Children under 18 years, need an adult to accompany them.

Where: Park at 1835 Old Wauhatchie Pike. We will walk a short distance to the work site.

What to bring: Gloves, water, work boots or shoes that can handle mud and sometimes rough terrain.

What we will bring: Tools, snacks, burgers and hotdogs, and the fixings.  The cookout will be served at noon.

Come be on the Mountain, share in our work effort, enjoy some food and make new friends all at the same time.

Questions? Call Ashley Cofield at 630-649-8299 or email her at ashley@lookoutmountainconservancy.org.

If this day is cancelled due to rain, we will plan to meet the next Saturday, April 13, from 9am-12pm.
