Fall Volunteer Work Day

Fall Volunteer Work Day

  • September Service Day
    September 23, 2017
    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The trails and wildlife habitat on Lookout Mountain have been getting a boost this summer, and we need you to help this work continue! Please come out, with your family and friends, and work side-by-side with The Howard School Leadership Interns to work on trail restoration and help rid the Mountain of invasive vines and overgrowth.

Who: You, your family and friends. Children under 18 years, need an adult to accompany them.

Where: Park at 1835 Old Wauhatchie Pike. We will walk a short distance to the work site.

What to bring: Gloves, water, work boots or shoes that can handle mud and sometimes rough terrain.

What we will bring: Tools, snacks, and lots of smiles.

The trails and wildlife habitat will be all the better when you come out and help. It’s a great way to spend a few hours and build new friendships at the same time.
