Fall Volunteer Work Day

Fall Volunteer Work Day

  • November 2, 2019
    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

We love having our community help on the mountain.  If you’ve never been to the park before, this is a great chance to get to see it and get a tour from the Interns.  If you’re a regular to the park, come see what we’ve been working on lately.

Who: You, your family and friends. Children under 18 years, need an adult to accompany them ** (see below)

Where: Park at 1835 Old Wauhatchie Pike. We will walk a short distance to the work site.

What to bring: Gloves, water, work boots or shoes that can handle mud and sometimes rough terrain. Wear pants and t-shirts (or layers appropriate for the weather) that can get dirty.

What we will bring: Tools, snacks, and lots of smiles.

The park and wildlife habitat will be all the better when you come out and help. It’s a great way to spend a few hours and build new friendships at the same time.

If the weather looks questionable, give us a call or check Facebook.

Questions? Call Robyn Carlton at 423-424-3882 or email her at

**If the adult is not the guardian, a waiver must be signed by the guardian and brought by the youth to the work day.
